Performance
From the beginning of my artistic explorations I have created performances in parallel with my visual works. At first these were a kind of interpretation of a sculptural work, but gradually my actions achieved autonomy. Today everything is mixed together. A prototype of a public artwork can become a prop for a performance and, conversely, an object designed for an action can be transformed into kinetic sculpture. It is not by chance that movement and sequential concepts appear in my photographs, videos and installations, or that objects have a special place in my performances. This notion of time, inherent to music, film, video and even literature, influences my performance projects and, inevitably, my visual works. These two artistic disciplines feed off each other and help speed up the development of my explorations for the creation of new works.
